We went to the pumpkin patch a few weeks ago after church. Aaron wanted REAL BIG pumpkin…until he found out how much they were! So we got a pretty good size one to carve and the kids got a little pumpkin. We had fun! Here are some of the photos I got while we were picking out just the right one! I just love how these two love each other! I hope they stay like this!
Here are some photos of the kids before we went to the fall festival! My plan had been to make both of them by hand, but my Aunt Beth surprised us the day before Denver's birthday party with a package at the front door…it was the Woody dress up from Disney! So, he got wear it for his party and for the fall festival. Thank you Aunt Beth!! It was a life saver! I don't know that I would have gotten both of them done in time! I did have a lot of fun making the Jessie costume though. And Dakota felt like the real thing!
We had Denver's Birthday party a few weeks ago. Man how time flies! He wanted a "Woody" party, so Toy Story it was! My Aunt Beth sent him the Woody costume as a gift and it got here the day before his party, so of course he wanted to dress up as Woody for his Woody party! I think he had a good time and he enjoyed helping me make all his yummy treats and his favorite was tasting everything as we went along! I love this boy! Here are the photos I got!
Here are a few photos of Dakota's party this year! The only thing she requested was for it to be pink and for the past 2 years she has wanted a waterslide. Surprise, surprise! I really enjoyed making all these treats for her, family and friends.
Well...It' that time again! I can't believe the last time I posted was this time last year. Life is BUSY! Anyway, here is Dakota's first day of Kindergarten photo. She is in Mrs. Harrison's class at Ditto Elementary and loving every minute of it. Except having to "wake up so late." That is what she calls early because it is still dark out when I get her up, too funny! Denver and I miss her lots but we are getting to spend a lot of quality time together that we have never had before. It's sad to say that the highlight of my day is going to pick her up and hearing all about her day! The Lord heard my prayers even though I thought the odds were against it, Sara Shone is in her class. She goes to church at Tate Springs like us and they went to the same PreSchool. I'm so happy she was able to know one person in her class at a brand new school! I love that last photo of Dakota and Denver! So silly!
Aaron and I were married in February of 2005. We have two beautiful babies, Dakota Ashlee and Denver Lane. They are two of the greatest gifts from God! The Lord has blessed Aaron with his own lawn business that is thriving! I am blessed to be able to stay home with Dakota and Denver and do the wife and mom thing. I also do some photography on the side as well.
